It was was ‘Superhero Day’ in Reception today and we came into school with our very own costumes on!

We started off our day with a superhero themed dough disco, we learnt a new sound- ‘h’ for hero, and listened to ‘Supertato’. Then we Took part in a carousel of activities. We made superhero wristbands, chopped up some vegetables (all from the Supertato book), played superhero stuck-in-the-mud, and even made our very own Supertato figures!

After a busy morning it was lunchtime and we had a super surprise prepared for us by our super cooks! The cakes were very yummy!

During the afternoon we used our super powers to take part in ‘Make-a-friend-Monday’ and got busy within our class. We made superhero dens, faces from our chopped up vegetables and superhero masks.

What an exciting day indeed!
