Safer Internet Day 2024!

This week, the children at Front Street Primary School have been celebrating Safer Internet Day which was held on Tuesday.

This year’s theme was ‘Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online.’

The children took part in a whole school assembly, where they thought about how they might feel if they were to notice small changes when online. The children were great at knowing who to talk to and what to do if they don’t feel quite right about something.

We also took the opportunity to celebrate the technology of the future! There was lots of excitement to see future virtual reality games, driverless cars, drones and even technology that can help improve and save lives!

All year groups took part in their own activities, from identifying their trusted adults, designing technology of the future, discussing AI and much much more.

Keep checking back to see photographs of Year 5’s parent sharing assembly, all about mobile/digital safety!
