Posting Santa letters!

This week Reception have been doing their independent writing based on Christmas. We spoke about a Christmas wish list and things we could ask Santa for as well as writing wishes. We wished for snow, cuddles and kisses, love and to spend time with our families. We brought in envelopes and a stamp with Santas address on it, ready to post our letters.

This morning Reception walked to Whickham to post their letters to Santa! As we walked we looked back at our school and talked about the seasonal changes, what we could see and how we felt. We talked about how to keep ourselves safe in winter as well as when walking in the snow and ice, making sure we were looking where we were going!

We look forward to Santa receiving our letters and seeing if we get a reply!
