Castle Building and Hand Washing

We have had a fun week in reception!

This week we have been learning how and why we wash our hands. We learnt that we need to wash our hands before we eat, when we sneeze or cough, and when we get dirt on them. We also have learnt that it is better to cough into our elbows and sneeze into a tissue. We know that we need to do this to keep us safe from germs that may make us poorly.

Also this week we have enjoyed taking part in a castle building competition. We utilised all of our resources from our construction area, from bricks and twigs to nuts and bolts, we balanced and stacked to our hearts content.
