This afternoon Year 2 started their investigation to see if water can walk!
The children set up the investigation and came up with some amazing predictions;
The water will be sucked up into the other cup by the towel.
The towels will change colour.
The water will travel from cup to cup by the paper towel.
The paper towel will change colour and turn the water the same colour as the empty cup.
The colours will combine and make a random colour.
The cups will explode when the colours mix.
The water will only travel half way up the paper towel and not into the other cup.
The paper towel will go soggy and break up.
When we return to school on Tuesday we will be able to see if any if our predictions were correct!
