Remembering a remarkable Queen…

Following the sad news shared with nation last night, Year 6 decided to remember and appreciate the remarkable life and service of Queen Elizabeth II.  We were amazed, inspired and encouraged by what we discovered.

As a Year group, we  wanted to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth II and her family.  We did this by using the online Book of Condolence.  Here is what we said…

Do all the good you can,

By all the means you can,

In all the ways you can,

In all the places you can,

At all the times you can,

To all the people you can,

As long as ever you can.

Every week, in school we say this prayer in assembly and make a promise to try and make our school the best it can be.

Today, as we said our prayer, it reminded us all of the way Queen Elizabeth has dedicated her life to serving our country and the Commonwealth.

Like this prayer, her actions inspire us to be the very best version of ourselves and to put others first.

Here are some of the things our pupils would like to say thank you for…

Thank you for your never-ending service and loyalty. Kayode (age 10)

Your life changed when you were only ten, thank you for showing us that if we are dedicated, we can make a difference too. Scarlett and Leyla (age 10)

You have been such an inspiration, not to just myself but to the entire world. Daniel (age 10)

Thank you for always putting us first and for helping us get through the pandemic. Rose (age 10)

Thank you, we will miss you and you will always be in our hearts, from all of us in Year 6 #year6 #teamfrontstreet
