Today we had a special visit from ‘That History Bloke’ and he was great!!! We got to handle and explore lots of objects from the past, most of them were over 100 hundred years old and one was even 300 years old!!
We learned all about different parts of the quayside which linked in with our geography topic of ‘where we live’ and the children wowed us with what they have remembered about different local landmarks.
Did you know that The great fire of Gateshead was actually bigger than the Great fire of London? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
