The Arts Ambassadors visit a local gallery

Today the Arts Ambassadors visited North East Art Collective in Newcastle. They got to see work by local artists (including Mrs Robson!) and even meet one of the artists, Graham Caffull. The Arts Ambassadors shared their opinions and thoughts about the different types of art and enjoyed hearing about some of the different methods the artists had used. The children then sketched some of their favourite artworks in their sketchbooks. The winning entries of the North East Art competition are being put up on the wall ready to be viewed by the general public! There were lots of fantastic entries and Sophie from North East Art Collective had a hard job choosing the winners. We all agreed that the work in the gallery was fantastic and the Arts Ambassadors wanted to take lots of it home! If you would like to see the winning entries u on the wall it will be on display for the next few weeks. Article 29
