To end their Spring Term History unit, Year 3 visited Newcastle Castle. We spent time exploring inside the castle keep and the surrounding area, finding out about its history and how the castle was designed to keep attackers out. We also took part in a crime and punishment workshop, where we were told about the gruesome punishments of the past.
