This term we have been inspired by the art work of Olivia Lomenech Gill (the artist who illustrated Fantastic Beasts). In her work, Olivia collected shapes and textures from actual living creatures to use in her fantasy creations.
In Year Six we have worked using the same approach. So far, we have explored how different mark making techniques can be used in our sketch work to create reptile forms and a scale textures.
