In Geography, as part of our work on Land Use, we took part in an Enterprise workshop at Whickham school.
We explored the scenario of building houses on green spaces near school, considering opinions and understanding the impact on people, communities and the environment. We stood on an opinion line as we heard the arguments for and against.
Article 12 says that every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously.
