Our Monozukuri Caravan workshops began with a traditional Japanese ceremony involving a durama doll.
We went onto design our own cars using Lego.
Next up, just like real Nissan employees, we worked to strict targets on a production line. We had to work quickly and ensure everything we produced was at an extremely high standard. Very tricky!
After lunch, we had a tour of the sleek and sophisticated training facility. We met a robot called Woody who can be programmed to help on the production line. Luckily for us, when we visited he was programmed to make cool posters for some or our pupils.
We were also highly privileged to se other Nissan robots in action – coding, algorithms and future careers were the topic of conversations!
