Year Six had an important decision to make in their latest History lesson.  

After learning all about the struggle for power between the Vikings and the Anglo-Saxons, our wise Year Six pupils were needed to decide who would succeed the king Edward the Confessor. 

To do that they took on the roles and responsibilities of the Witan.

But with four candidates for kingship, and over two hundred years of change, disagreements and battles, this wasn’t an easy choice to make.
