Today we celebrated World Book Day. In Early Years our theme was ‘dots’, in reference to the story ‘The Dot’ by Peter Reynolds, we all loved coming in wearing spots and dots- even the teachers and Mrs Gladstone joined in too!
We enjoyed reading ‘The Dot’, our favourite line was: “just make a mark and see where it takes you”. This encouraged us to explore our creative side as we all listened to relaxing piano music and laid down to create our very own collaborative dotty artwork. To sum up the day, we ended with Mystery Reader!
