Today our KS2 athletics team competed at Gateshead Stadium in this years Gateshead SSP Festival.
???? Gold medal in 5/6 girls 80m sprint
????Gold medal in 5/6 girls 3 spring jumps – with a new stadium record!
????Silver medal in 3/4 girls long distance
????Silver medal in 5/6 girls 60m sprint
????Bronze medal in 3/4 boys javelin
????4th place in 3/4 girls hurdles
????4th place in 5/6 boys hurdles
Due to the weather the final relay races didn’t happen! However our girls year 3/4 team AND our girls 5/6 team qualified for the final. Our year 5/6 boys relay team qualified for the semi finals which were also called off due to the weather.
