Amazing Year Two Vex Robotics

Wednesday 9th July may have seemed like an ordinary day for most of us, but for a group of eight Year Two children – who had headed off to Gateshead College to take part in an all day robotics challenge – it was a day packed with teamwork, thinking skills and excitement.

Using their incredible coding knowledge and brilliant Front Street teamwork skills, our talented programmers were fantastic competitors.  They collaborated, encouraged, planned and adapted so well that by the end of the competition one team was in forth place and the other had secured second – only one point away from a joint first.

What an outstanding result!  Well done, we are so proud of how well you worked together.
