Last week the weather turned very cold. The frost and snow covered the nursery outdoor area. We enjoyed making marks, footprints and looked for ice. Some of the children wanted to save the ice to take home. Cue some scientific discussions, ‘Early Years style,’ about where the ice came from and was it really the water that then made it melt or something else?!
