As part of our Geography unit of work on coasts, Year 5 visited Marsden beach to explore coastal erosion. We drew field sketches to include the physical features we could see and carried out an investigation on pebble shapes and sizes at different parts of the beach. We also looked at land use in the area by looking at the Marsden kilns.
