Reception have spent their day today on a school trip to Hamsterley Forest!
We all enjoyed going on the Gruffalo trail to find the Gruffalo and the characters from the story. We made houses out of natural resources for the fox, mouse, snake and the owl. We made stick men for the Gruffalo Child and we left dinner for the Gruffalo from items we found around the forest. We then made the Gruffalo out of clay for the trees. We also got to use our gross motor skills on the different play areas! We loved having our packed lunches outside in the fresh air.
Oh help, oh no, it’s a Gruffalo!
