My Name is not Refugee

Today we read the book ‘My Name is not Refugee’ by Katie Milner. We discussed are basic rights to be safe and protected from war. (article 38) We imagined what it must be like to leave a country where it is not safe and to go to another country. We thought of some basic items to pack for the journey which could keep us clean healthy and help to remember our home. Article 4,6,7,8,9, 10, 18, 19, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28 and  30.
