This week we are thinking about the importance of washing our hands. We took part in an experiment to see if the germs (pepper flakes) stick to our fingers if we do or do not have soap on them. We then used this information when we were making our vegetable soup. We loved making the soup as we have been talking about harvest time recently and we were excited see what it tasted like. We made sure we washed our hands with soap before we handled the food. We also talked about safety when cutting up the vegetables with the teacher. The soup was a big hit! Almost everyone loved it!
