Year 2 have been looking at how the Jewish religion celebrates it’s New Year.
The children tried some foods that Jews eat during this celebration and discovered why they are eaten. They tried pomegranate, honey and apples.We found out that the number of seeds in the pomegranate signifies the number of good deeds they must do that year!
