Our visit to Beamish was a hot one. We explored the pit village, mine and school. The eta her in the school was not as nice as the teachers at Front Street! We then walked all the way to the town and saw some shops from long ago.
The sweet shop was too busy so instead of buying sweets we had a lovely ice lolly when we got back to school, this was a very welcome treat.
