Year Six spent the afternoon travelling the world on our very own wildlife safari with the help of Rob (from Zoo Lab) and his amazing animal friends. Throughout the afternoon, the children were given opportunities to see, hold and learn about a wide range of creatures which naturally occur in biomes from right across the planet. We learned how cockroaches could survive the most extreme of conditions, how quickly rats can solve puzzles and use their exceptional senses to survive almost anywhere. We even saw a colour changing frog!
There were, however, a few animals that really stole the show: Turbo the Giant African Land snail, Tilly the tarantula and Harry the snake.
