On Thursday we were lucky enough to receive a visit from a man called Kevin who works in the Laing and Shipley Art Galleries. We talked about our favourite colours then searched and pointed them out in our classroom. He then read the colour monster to us and talked about feelings, we even had a go at expressing some of these feelings on our faces. After we read the story, we looked at some pieces of art and then we used paint sticks to create our own large scale artwork.
